# Day 159 English Ivy on my desk

# Day 158 On Skype...missing daddy!

Max misses Ashok and when we were talking on Skype, he could see him but not hear him, so Kunal quickly took his headphones and put it on Max, so he could hear Ashok. Being able to see and hear Ashok without him being here annoys Max very much!

# Day 154 University Town!

I love living in University towns. When we lived in New Jersey, a drive around Rutgers was my favourite past-time. And this scene is so typical of a university town for me - the nerdy Lego toy by one window, a student (probably not studying!) by the other window, lovely greenery reflecting on the third window, and cycles tied up to the fence.  I don't think I mention it enough but I love Cambridge.

# Day 153 “May it be a light to you in dark places, when all other lights go out.”

“We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are.”

# Day 151 Stone Circle

Kunal said this picture reminded him of Planets. I agreed! And I asked him if I should crop out the green shadow from the green jar and the other figure, he thought for a while and said, "Nah! It adds mystery!", I, again, couldn't help but agree!

P.S: I asked me if he knew what mystery meant, he replied, "Yeah! something that you don't know about yet".

# Day 149 My Italicized Wisteria Vine!

Don’t worry about wisteria. You can beat it up a bit and it’ll still bloom.
~Lorraine Flanigan

P.S: I can assure you first hand that this is true. The wisteria vine was the first casualty when we moved to this house in December. Max had chewed it up so bad, I set up a fence and took care not let him anywhere near it. And it grew back, just like that. Now that it bloomed so well in my care, I am especially fond of it :)

# Day 147 Rock painting

Kunal has been painting on pebbles from our garden for a while now. His friend gifted him a set of acrylic paints for his birthday but he soon ran out of all the canvas. I didn't want to go buy new canvas, so told him to paint on pebbles. Since then he has been "rock-painting".

# Day 146 Wildflowers from our walk

Kunal collected these flowers on the way as we were walking our dog, Max. He came home and asked for a vase, I didn't have a small enough container so we ended up with the toothbrush holder :) Both Kunal and I were very pleased in the end!

# Day 144 Let me be as a feather

“Let me be as a feather.
Strong with purpose yet light at heart, able to bend.
And, tho I might become frayed,
able to pull myself together again.”
– Anita Sams
