I am an amateur photographer and this is my 365 days challenge. I want to publish one photo every day because I believe doing something regularly helps you get better at it. My camera is a Canon DSLR 750D. I have 3 lenses - Tamron 16-300mm, Canon 50mm, and Canon 18-135mm. Tamron lens stays on my camera 90% of the time but my favourite is actually the 50mm.

# Day 198 Our Magnificent Sunflower!
When I came home from the workshop in the evening today, Kunal was beaming; he couldn't wait to show me his BIG sunflower! Sunflower is his favourite flower :)

# Day 188 Is this Jasmine?
It is a creeper in our garden but sadly I don't know what it is. I looks very much like a variety of Jasmine (called Jaji in Kannada) but it is not fragrant. So, I don't know what it is.

# Day 186 A house we like!
This is a house on the way to Kunal's school that both Ashok and I like. There is something so earthy, understated and simple about this house that we always take a minute to admire it on our walks.

# Day 184 Superhero saves 9/11
Kunal was asking questions about Airport security, so Ashok narrated the 9/11 incident and how it changed air travel. It must have bothered Kunal, for he drew this picture on the black board. It is a plane coming to crash into a tall building and the superhero (with his cape!) flies in to stop the plane.
I thought it surely deserved a place on my blog!

# Day 177 Iceni Botanical Exhibition at Clare Hall
We recently visited the Iceni Botanical Exhibition at Clare Hall. Formed in 2010, Iceni Botanical Artists has 25 members all residing locally and committed to celebrating the Plant Kingdom. Their work ranges from loose and free interpretations, to scientifically accurate plant portraits and each artist’s love of flowers can be seen in the exuberance and power of their paintings, from delicate wild flowers to exotic cultivars represented by superb detail and with imaginative compositions.

# Day 164 Jesus College, Cambridge
The college's full name is The College of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Saint John the Evangelist and the glorious Virgin Saint Radegund, near Cambridge. Its common name comes from the name of its chapel, Jesus Chapel. The college was established between 1496 and 1516, on the site of the twelfth-century Benedictine nunnery of St Mary and St Radegund by John Alcock, then Bishop of Ely.

# Day 158 On Skype...missing daddy!
Max misses Ashok and when we were talking on Skype, he could see him but not hear him, so Kunal quickly took his headphones and put it on Max, so he could hear Ashok. Being able to see and hear Ashok without him being here annoys Max very much!
